Here's another post related to my ongoing rant against graffiti. The mail box above is, shall we say, a graffiti magnet. But wrap the box in some attractive art and the vandalism is reduced. These two mail boxes are on the same street in Vancouver, just a few blocks apart.

Conference call viral video is good marketing



Here's another admirable viral video. Let's say you have an event to promote. You produce a video. Post it on YouTube. Nobody cares. So try this instead. Produce a very clever video that's entertaining in it's own right and really strikes a nerve with your target audience. Tack on a promotional message for your event at the end. Get millions of viewers. Done.

Here's a new trend in online banking. Some banks are giving customers the ability to deposit cheques using their smart phones. This can save a ton of time for business people and it's good for the environment because it eliminates daily trips to the bank.
