Composting at David's Tea

Many of us tea drinkers know that our tea leaves and bags are compostable. Problem is, most tea shops don't provide a way to compost them. Kudos to David's Tea on Bleeker Street in NYC for solving this problem.

Introduction

In my work, I meet a lot of brilliant people. I get exposed to "why didn't I think of that?" ideas and points of view. I'm struck by unexpected, clever ways of thinking and solving problems.

During my 35 year career in marketing, communications and media production (more than 1/3 of that as a business owner), I've been blown away by the capacity of the human race to leverage opportunities and solve problems.

This blog is dedicated to those clever people who collaborate, solve problems in their communities and always find a way. These are people who even have the nerve to question "best practices" because best practices represent what "is", not what "could be".

My company produces all forms of media for our clients: video, radio, television, ebooks, podcasts, audio books and print publications. Some of my blog posts are about the projects themselves. Other posts are inspired by the research, travel and thousands of experiences related to these projects.

The more we learn about how others solve problems and leverage opportunities, the more confidence we have in our own natural ability to innovate. I hope you are inspired to see a world where there is a clever solution for everything.
